Candle care: on the first light, let the wax melt right to the edge of the jar to help it burn evenly. Trim the wick to around 5mm before each use, burn for no more than three or four hours at a time, and always place candles on a heat-safe surface, away from draughts, children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
